Since the beginning of October, new orders from all over the world have reflected the positive financial forecast for 2014. The offshore industry remains a strong accelerator for Conbit’s growth.
Two of the world’s biggest shipyards awarded Conbit significant orders for material handling equipment. Both companies are working on different assets for a gas field, Offshore Australia. Their Australian client believes an equipment handling system is required to ensure that their assets continue to produce in the future. A global square with corners in the US (client’s engineers), Europe (Conbit), South Korea (Client’s procurement department) and Australia (End User) is required to make these projects a success.
Another two contracts were awarded to Conbit by an operator of offshore assets, offshore New Zealand. The time difference between the client’s office in New Zealand and Conbit’s office in Best, the Netherlands, did not prevent them gaining the client’s trust. This order will be completed with the help of a Scandinavian partner, making this project truly international as well.
